Sustainability isn't just a word, it's our responsibility towards a greener future.

Each bicycle crank produced at Miranda generates less than a gram of CO2, making these the most sustainable in the market.

100% Manufactured in Europe

Miranda is rooted in sustainability. We utilize green electricity and recycled aluminium, offer eco-friendly finish options, and employ sustainable raw material sourcing, packaging and shipping. Over 90% of our waste is directed towards recovery, reflecting our commitment to a healthier environment.

100% Green Electricity

Since 2016, Miranda has been steadily harnessing the sun's power, installing photovoltaic panels that now generate a quarter of all the electricity we use. This solar investment is more than just an energy choice—it's a significant stride towards reducing our CO2 emissions and promoting a greener planet.

Beyond our solar initiative, we take pride in ensuring that the rest of our power comes from certified green sources. This commitment allows us to declare with pride that Miranda operates entirely on renewable electricity.

But it's not just our facilities that benefit from this green energy initiative. Every crank we produce carries a piece of our sustainable pledge. By utilizing 100% green electricity in their production, our cranks become ambassadors of our commitment to renewable energy, turning cycles into a symbol of sustainability. With Miranda, each revolution is a step towards a greener future.

We use recycled Aluminium

At Miranda, we champion sustainability by using recycled aluminum in our crank production. This decision not only bypasses the CO2 intensive process of extracting aluminum from bauxite, but it also doesn't compromise on quality. Recycled aluminum possesses the same strength, durability, and performance as virgin material. By utilizing recycled aluminum, we save about 95% of the greenhouse gas emissions compared to primary production, effectively reducing our carbon footprint. Also, we can attest that we source all this raw material locally, contributing to local economies! At Miranda, quality and sustainability coexist, reinforcing our commitment to a greener future.

Sustainable Packaging Pledge

Miranda takes pride in being a founding member of the CIE/CONEBI Sustainable Packaging Pledge, highlighting our commitment to sustainable packaging practices. The signatories of the packaging commitment pledged to work with their supply chain partners to ensure that all supply chain packaging is reusable, recyclable, or compostable by 2025. Our determination to reduce our environmental footprint extends to our packaging choices; all our cardboard packages are 100% FSC and PEFC certified, ensuring they come from responsibly managed forests. Furthermore, we meticulously optimize our packaging layouts to accommodate the maximum number of parts safely while minimizing cardboard usage. This is part of our broader commitment to reducing waste and promoting sustainability at every step of our operations.

At Miranda, sustainability and performance go hand-in-hand. Our products, rigorously tested in demanding events like the UCI Enduro World Cup, exemplify durability and quality. We foster an inclusive cycling culture, supporting diversity within our Factory Team. Our commitment aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and ESG principles. For Miranda, sustainability is not just a concept, but a guiding principle that defines our contribution to the sport and the planet.
